Pit Orchestra

The Pit Orchestra is a club where musicians come together to perform the instrumental music for the BHS musical productions. If you join, you'll sit in the pit (the area in front of the stage) and play alongside other student musicians and professionals to accompany the singers and dancers performing on stage. This club welcomes players of all instrument types—strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion—and offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your ensemble skills, improve your sight-reading abilities, and collaborate with fellow musicians in a fun, theatrical setting. Members get to be an integral part of bringing the musical to life while experiencing the energy and excitement of live performance. Whether you're looking to challenge yourself musically, make new friends, or simply enjoy being part of a major school production, the Pit Orchestra is a rewarding club that combines your love of music with the magic of theater! An audition is required to be a part of this club!
