On Saturday, April 25, we will be hosting the TIA Chapter 8 Championship here at Baldwin and WE NEED HELP! This is a huge event involving hundreds of performs and spectators. We need assistance from students and parents to assist in running the event. We also are seeking donations of Haluski (check out the documents page for the recipe under Marching Info) and baked goods (packaged in bags suitable for sale for $1). If you are involved in our music program in any way (or if you need volunteer hours or just want to help) please consider joining us. We will start work at 9 AM but help is welcome any time during the day...the event will likely run until well after dinner time.
Congratulations to the cast, crew, and pit of the BHS Spring Musical, the Drowsy Chaperone! It was a truly excellent production. Please know how proud we are of all of you!
On April 28, the Pittsburgh Symphony will be hosting their annual Audience of the Future Concert, beginning at 7 PM at Heinz Hall. Eleven BHS students worked with HS students from across the region to plan every element of this event. All concert proceeds go to our music program. Attached is a ticket order form and a concert flyer. Please consider attending...tickets are very affordable! And please share this flyer, both electronically and in local stores.
Don't miss this great chance to support our program while enjoying one of our nation's finest orchestras!
